Code of Conduct
At Code & Grow, we are committed to creating a safe, supportive, and growth-focused environment where all children can explore, learn, and thrive. Our sessions are not just about learning to code — they’re about developing focus, resilience, creativity, and respect for others.
All students are expected to follow these guidelines to help create a positive and productive learning environment:
1. Curiosity & Effort
Come ready to learn! We value curiosity, persistence, and a willingness to try — even when things get tricky. Coding is about experimenting, failing forward, and growing.
2. Support Each Other
We cheer for each other’s progress. Whether someone’s building their first animation or debugging a tough error, all efforts deserve encouragement and kindness.
3. Be On Time & Prepared
Please arrive 5–10 minutes before your session begins. Bring your thinking brain, a water bottle, and your best attitude. If you can’t attend, let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly.
4. Respect the Space & People
We show respect by listening when others are speaking, treating equipment with care, and following the instructor’s directions. Disrespectful or disruptive behaviour towards peers or staff won’t be tolerated.
5. Positive Communication Only
We encourage questions, ideas, and teamwork — but all communication must be kind and constructive. If you have concerns or feel upset, speak to your instructor privately or ask for help after class.
Non-Negotiables
Certain behaviours are not allowed under any circumstances:
-
Bullying or intimidation
-
Repeated disruptions
-
Disrespect toward instructors or classmates
-
Inappropriate language or gestures
Students who breach this code may be asked to leave the session temporarily or permanently, depending on the situation.
Our Commitment
The Code & Grow team is here to support every child’s growth — technically, emotionally, and socially. We hold high expectations because we believe in your child’s potential and want them to succeed in a space that is safe, inspiring, and fun.
Together, we build more than just code — we build confidence, focus, and the joy of lifelong learning.
