Confident Builder (Age 6 - 8)

Service Description

This program is designed for children of all skill levels aged 6 to 8 years old. Builders gain confidence by creating interactive games and stories in Scratch. They learn loops, conditionals, and variables, while practicing “calm debugging” and team-based problem solving. Builders start to plan their projects using storyboards and logic trees. By the end of the term, your child will: ✅ Build interactive projects using Scratch with core coding concepts like loops, conditionals, and variables ✅ Learn to stay calm and persistent when faced with errors, practicing structured “debugging” strategies ✅ Collaborate with peers on problem-solving challenges, building early teamwork and communication skills ✅ Use storyboards and logic trees to begin planning their code before jumping into execution ✅ Present a working game or animated story they’ve built — and explain the thinking behind it
